Thanks for the comments on my fingerpainting piece. :-)
To answer your questions, I actually only took two shot of it; one with the stones and one without. The stones and the texture of the wood on my porch made me think of a river or a spa, so I had fun with the presentation.
It was actually the first time I ever have photographed any of my work in natural lighting, so I am glad you liked it. :-)
